The city of Joplin came into existence in 1873.\u00a0 Since that time period, there have been a number of mayors.\u00a0 Below is our attempt to slowly build up a convenient list of Joplin’s early leaders.\u00a0 Eventually, each mayor will also have their own post which will offer more detailed information about these early leaders and the roles they played in the city’s development.<\/p>\n
